AI4Youth Media is implemented through cooperation between media and youth organisations from different European countries. Each partner contributes specific expertise in youth work, media production, digital education and project implementation.The partnership is based on shared responsibility, regular communication and collaborative decision-making. All partners actively contribute to project activities, dissemination efforts and quality assurance processes.

The Media Workers Union (Medya-İş) was founded in Ankara on March 9, 2012, by 31 founding members who were employees of the Anadolu Agency. It is a labor organization operating in the “Press, Publishing, and Journalism” sector. Shortly after its establishment, it joined the Hak-İş Confederation family with its 1st Ordinary General Assembly held on August 25-26, 2012.
The union bases its fundamental philosophy on “adopting humanity, dignity, and labor as the most fundamental values,” deriving its raison d’être and fighting spirit from this moral foundation. Starting its journey in 2013 with 560 members, it has rapidly grown, becoming the leading union in its sector by 2017.
Medya-İş, which organizes not only national newspapers but also local newspapers operating in all 81 provinces of Turkey, has become the “voice of the Anatolian Press.” Today, as the largest journalists’ union in Turkey in terms of membership, it continues its struggle for the rights of all media workers with the same enthusiasm as on its first day.
